Terms of Service
Last updated: 28 May 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of TruShipy, operated by Truenotech (“TruShipy”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
TruShipy is a real-time tracking platform that lets you look up containers, vessels, and Bills of Lading using carrier APIs and AIS data sources. The Service aggregates third-party data to present shipment status, port milestones, and estimated arrival times.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate registration details and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account. The Service is intended for business use by organisations and individuals aged 18 or older. Credits are pooled at the account level, so any member of your organisation’s account may use the shared balance.
3. Credits, pricing, and payment
TruShipy uses a pay-per-lookup credit model. Each successful tracking lookup — a container number, a Bill of Lading, or a vessel MMSI — costs one credit. There is no subscription and no recurring charge. Credits never expire, and new accounts receive complimentary credits on sign-up.
- Credit prices are shown on the pricing page and are charged in the currency displayed at checkout.
- Payments are processed by Razorpay; by purchasing credits you also agree to Razorpay’s terms.
- A credit is deducted only when a lookup returns a successful carrier response. Revisiting a previously saved result does not consume additional credits.
- Purchased credits are generally non-refundable except where required by applicable law. For billing questions, contact [email protected].
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Resell, redistribute, or scrape the Service or its data without our written permission;
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems;
- Use the Service to violate any law, infringe third-party rights, or transmit malware;
- Place automated load on the Service that interferes with its operation or other users.
5. Data accuracy and availability
Tracking data is sourced from ocean carriers, terminals, and AIS providers. While we call these sources directly and in real time, we do not control and cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of third-party data. The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, and should not be the sole basis for time-critical commercial, customs, or safety decisions.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Truenotech and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for its intended purpose. Shipment data returned to you remains subject to the rights of the underlying carriers and data providers.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TruShipy and Truenotech are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or business arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service or from reliance on third-party data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for credits in the three months preceding the claim.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TruShipy and Truenotech from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising out of your misuse of the Service or your breach of these Terms.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to the platform or other users. You may stop using the Service at any time. On termination, the provisions that by their nature should survive — including payment, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — will continue to apply.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Courts located in India will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide notice within the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
